Part-Time On-Air Staff
This is a part-time position, primarily to work on the air during regular KCHU news breaks, with a regular schedule as well as on-call to fill in for other staff as needed. Training and support will be provided. Other duties are dependent on need and on the hiree’s abilities and interests.
Hours: Up to 20 hours per week as needed, with extra hours if necessary to fill in for other staff.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Requirements: Must be highly responsible, punctual, dependable and conscientious. Representing KCHU on the air is a serious responsibility, which includes adherence to FCC rules and a dedication to professional delivery of accurate, timely content. A willingness to learn is as important as past experience. Must be willing and able to work early in the morning fairly often. Our first and longest on-air shift begins at 6:30 am.
